  • Westwood Ridge - This trail is located within the city of Nanaimo. This ride combines the smooth-rolling surface of Westwood Lake Trail.

  • Hammerfest Race Course - Parksville, B.C. 20 minutes from Nanaimo, 6.7 miles in a loop. Very Challenging expert level.

  • Parkway Trail: This backbone trail of Nanaimo links Aulds Road in the north to Chase River in the South. 20 km paved, tree lined corridor provides a recreational playground where cyclists and pedestrians can move safely throughout the community away from vehicular traffic.

  • Family Riverbend Cavern Tour: Learn about the fascinating geology and history of these amazing caverns. Starting with a 25 minute hike to the entrance along the Karst Trail. While exploring the larger and easier passages of Riverbend Cave, visitors are treated to beautiful crystal formations and ancient fossils. There are no crawls or tight passages involved in this tour. Travel in the cave is on natural rocky floors and can be slippery. Tours not recommended for children under 5 or those with mobility problems.

  • The caves are located 60 km north of Nanaimo, 55km south of Courtenay off the Island Highway 19 or 19A. Turn at the Provincial Park signs at the Horne Lake Exit (Exit #75) and follow the signs for 12 km along the gravel road. Drive with headlights on and WATCH OUT FOR LOGGING TRUCKS!
